Do you wonder why there are people who find it difficult to lose weight?

To start the discussion, i would to like tell you a story about my friend, who highly believed that the reason of being an overweight person is hereditary in nature and to effect, no health approaches are going to be effective for the transformation of an obese person.

Her mind setting was programmed by the thought that no weight loss program will come to aid and transform her huge body into a lean sculpture.

During our tertiary school years, her elder brother advised her that even though the conduct of an exercise is good but it won't be best for her due to the fact that she eats too much not to mention the hereditary thing.

Few month later, she was diagnosed to have a type 2 diabetes at the age of 19. Her doctor explained to her that if she still wants to live at the age longer than 40 she should change her lifestyle and diet approaches.

She never had a choice and religiously followed what her doctor instructed her to do. After several weeks of adjustments, she lost weight tremendously as a result of the medicines that suppress her appetite. She was also required to perform mild and non strenuous workouts.

This time she realized that regardless of one's heredity, she could still lose weight if she'll really decide to undergo such weight loss program. But of course, regrets are always at the end.


Try to observe around you, you can see that there are lots of overweight people who suffer from degenerative diseases because of their unhealthy lifestyle approaches and this includes the intake of unhealthy food and lack of exercise.

I just want to emphasize that health is very important because it makes a person feel the ultimate happiness to enjoy life to the fullest, that is, free from sufferings, right? Even affluent people are willing to spend millions of dollars just to regain their good health. 

But sometimes, money just can't buy everything.

Now, what do you think will happen if you become unhealthy and financially unstable? Do you think you could just ignore it and pretend that you're on top of your best health?

I don't think so! Some people will recommend to think positive thoughts which will subsequently attract good health. However, we could not discount the real situation that there are many people who are struggling to change their mind settings and could freely think that they're just fine. 

At the end of the day, they would still come into reality and feel the deterioration of their health.

The value of the quote that goes, " health is wealth" may soon be realized if a person is already suffering from a disease.

Some people would say that, "I don't care if I'm fat and what people are saying against me as long as I'm happy, it's just fine with me".  You may cater this thought over and over but everyone knows that this is just a defense mechanism to feel good. You know for sure that you found it difficult to lose weight.

On the other hand, there are people who are eager to lose weight but they're not capable of performing related approaches like non strenuous workouts due to health complications.

By the way, last week I read from a local medical magazine that  overweight people may surely lose weight even without the intervention of exercise. 

It only takes a nutritious diet and one's life will somehow be transformed healthier. Wow! I felt excited to hear this because i knew that many people will also be excited about this news.

Well, I'll now share to you some of the approaches on how to lose weight naturally. Moreover, just for your reference, the following weight loss approaches are considered health facts. 

Meaning, all you have to do is to change your mind setting and follow these healthy approaches religiously, and you'll definitely obtain your normal body weight in a gradual but in the most effective ways. 

Here they are:

1. Small frequent feeding of 6-8 times a day

facts:

- eating food increases the rate of the person's metabolism

- when you take food frequently, it makes the metabolism work 
   continuously 
- as a result it burns unwanted body fats
- then, the person loses weight

note: What happens when a person eats 3 full meals a day?

    - since the frequency of eating is only 3 times a day, the 
      corresponding increase in metabolism rates take place 3 times 
      in a day also
    - as an effect, the burning of unwanted body fats doesn't 
      continuously takes place
    - since there are intervals, there are idle times of unwanted body 
      fat burning
    - since there are idle times, there are times wherein the body 
      doesn't burn unwanted fats
    - as a result, a person accumulates the afore-mentioned fats
    - then, he becomes overweight

2. Eat at least 3-4 hours before sleeping at night

facts:

- when a person sleeps, he doesn't consume high degree of energy
- as an effect, his metabolism slows down
- when metabolism slows down, the body burn excess fats slightly
- when the person eats at least 3-4 hours before 
  going to bed, his food intake won't be digested normally due to the
  slow activity of the muscles that produces the body energy
- since the said energy is low, the metabolism is slow
- fat burning activity slows down

- then, the person becomes overweight

3. Drink warm water

facts:

- ingested food is being digested in the stomach in a warm 
  temperature
- nutrient absorption takes place in the small intestines
- when a person drink cold water, he switches the warm stomach 
  temperature into a cold one
- as a result, the stomach could hardly digest food
- digestion process functions very slowly as a result and takes a
  long period of time to complete
- as an effect, the nutrients absorption becomes slow too
- since absorption is slow, the body's source of energy 
  becomes insufficient
- insufficiency of body energy results to slow metabolism rate
- slow metabolism results to slow burning of unwanted body fats
- then, the person becomes overweight


Note: Some people recommend that drinking very cold water is best for weight loss.

This is true but this is applicable only if you do this not during the meal times.

Reason: By drinking very cold water, our body exert more efforts to regulate the temperature of the water until the water becomes warm. During the process our body works hard & it burns excess fats as a result. Then, you lose weight.

4. Eat hot & spicy food

fact:

- eating hot & spicy food make a person perspires a lot.
- by perspiring, fats and calories are being released from the body
   through sweat.
- this helps boost your metabolism
- then you lose weight

5. Cater your food cravings

facts:

- if  a person is on a diet he avoids unhealthy food like chocolate  
  and other food similar in nature
- the more he hinders himself, the more he crave because of the 
  deprivation feeling
- feeling of food deprivation tortures a person
- as a result, he'll be tempted to quit the program and eat more
- eating more makes a person overweight

note: What should be done?

- take a pinch of these food, to prevent feeling of deprivation

6. Sweat while sitting

facts:

- increase in temperature makes a person's body increase in 
  temperature
- thereafter, the body sweats
- as the body gets hotter, the heart pumps harder to take the water 
  to the sweat glands
- this cardiovascular activity burns calories
- then, the person burns excess fats
- he loses weight

For those who find it difficult to perform exercises even the mild ones, sweat yourself at the sauna.

You may even make your own sauna at home by submerging a portable water heater in a small pail with half-fulled water content. Position it under the chair where you'll sit and cover yourself with a bathroom curtain. Steam will be produced and will make you feel warm.

I'm telling you, you'll sweat a lot like you've never experienced before. But if you have a respiratory problem, don't cover your head just wrap your body.
